We are the first company to produce a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) for using on lawn mower engine.
The conventional small engine motorized scooter drives the rear wheel directly from the engines centrifugal clutch, with no torque converter or multiple speed transmission in the driveline. This is like driving an automobile, with a manual transmission, in 2nd gear all the time! The clutch is abused at every start and the engine is always running at high RPM's.
Just as this is a recipe for disaster for any automobile, so it is for motorized scooters. |
